Meet the LeapFrog Team

The Head Frog

Maurice (or “Mo” for short)

You can tell a lot about a team by taking a look at its leader: his or her integrity, attitude, relationships with people, etc. That being said, we’d like to introduce you to the Head Frog, Mo Williams.

Mo was born and raised in the Bay Area and educated at DVC, CSU Chico, UC Berkeley and, finally, University of British Columbia.

In his tadpole years, Mo hopped to it as a top-ranked national and international gymnast, and later as an acclaimed and much-loved coach. He served as captain of the gymnastic teams at both DVC and CSU Chico, where he also became the student body Vice President.

After graduating from Chico, Mo transferred to the University of British Columbia to work on his Masters degree and enjoy another couple of years of eligibility to compete in gymnastics. At UBC, Mo again served as captain of the gymnastics team, eventually becoming the head coach of the British Columbia gymnastics team at the Canada Games. He also married the love of his life, Ann, who is now our CFO!

Mo began a new phase in his life when he and his young family returned to their much-loved Bay Area to be closer to large extended families. Mo gained the experience that makes the LeapFrog team one you can count on, learning plumbing and construction products and installation from the inside-out at – do you remember it? – Simon’s Hardware in Walnut Creek – and Home Depot in Concord.

Soon, Mo’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business, LeapFrog Plumbing, where he and his team hop to it in Contra Costa and Alameda counties, bringing a spirit of professionalism to the plumbing world.

Mo’s work ethic, leadership, demand for top performance and love of people never wavers. He brings the same spirit to providing the best possible plumbing service as he did to guiding athletes to excellence.
Please meet the rest of our pleasingly personable, ribbetingly reliable team…

LeapFrog’s Field Staff

Group

Gordon

Gordon, Senior Plumber, has worked for LeapFrog for five years now and worked in plumbing in his previous job for another three years. He is a hard-worker and well liked by our customers. Outside of work, Gordon’s passion is working on cars. He used to own a 1970 Firebird and is looking forward to owning another older muscle car soon. Gordon and his girlfriend both enjoy the company of his two cats and a dog.

Ian

Ian, Plumber, works hard at LeapFrog and loves helping out in any way he can. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his 8 year old son and Fiancé. Ian also likes to grow Bonsai trees and prune them into different shapes and sizes. He is a great asset to our team and we are grateful to have him working at LeapFrog!

Kevin

Kevin, Senior Plumber, has been with LeapFrog for five years. He’s one of LeapFrog’s lead plumbers. Kevin has a vast amount of knowledge about plumbing, particularly about tankless water heaters and rough plumbing. Kevin is known for his patience in explaining plumbing techniques to newer employees. In his spare time, Kevin has an amazing garden and enjoys sharing his harvest generously. He also likes riding dirt bikes, fishing and golf.

Josh

Josh, Plumber, is a great member of our LeapFrog team. He is a great help to all of our technicians and enjoys lending a hand. In his free time he enjoys fishing and going out on the ocean on his dad’s boat.

Our Office Staff

Ann, LeapFrog Plumbing’s CFO (and the Head Frog’s spouse), has been hopping to it since LeapFrog’s beginning, keeping track of our budget, finances, etc. She’s also a graphics designer and has illustrated several books. In fact, she designed the artwork for our logo. She’s not sure which she likes better. Hmm. Near-sightedly looking at numbers or art? (Now, that’s a silly question.)

These days, in addition to working as our CFO, Ann’s busy managing a kitchen and great room remodel at Mo’s and her house in Lafayette. They raised their boys in the house and love their neighborhood so remodeling, not moving, made a lot of sense.

They couldn’t be prouder of their boys now that they’ve finished college and found jobs that they love. Their first two, Reece and Tim, are a captain and firefighter in the Contra Costa and Moraga-Orinda fire departments. Their middle son is a videographer and media specialist with Go Pro. The baby of the family is an engineer with Tesla Motors. When Ann’s not working, you can find her out in the garden, pulling weeds and planting flowers.

Lindsey, our much-appreciated (and depended on) Administrative Operations Manager, started her career by working for a plumbing company part-time while earning her BS in Finance at Saint Mary’s. She ended up liking it so much, she stayed in the industry. Lindsey worked for LeapFrog from 2006 to 2009. She just couldn’t stay away, and returned in 2013 as our LeapFrog’s Bookkeeper & Office Manager. We’re glad to have her back. Lindsey loves that LeapFrog is a family-owned business that truly cares about their employees and, more importantly, their customers. She says, we try to go the extra mile for all of our customers. When she’s not hopping to it at LeapFrog, Lindsey is a busy mom of two boys who are the light of her life. She spends any extra time with her husband, boys and pets, just hanging out or running around to sporting events.

Gretchen, very capably fills the role of Administrative Assistant. That means she helps out wherever and whenever needed. You may hear her voice on the phone. She is a whiz on the computer too. She’s jumping right in to help with the website, advertising and marketing. Gretchen has been working at LeapFrog for over 5 years and loves her job!

Carol, LeapFrog’s Dispatcher, plays a huge part in helping the business run smoothly.

Pudge and Mushu, our little office frogs! Pudge and Mushu are Fire Belly Toads, getting their name from their bright orange bellies. These little frogs love to hang out in the water and hop around in their home, eating crickets and enjoying their waterfall!
